First, you've got to start with Lehi Mills Belgain Waffle Mix or you can use our Whole Wheat Waffle Mix to get your whole grains in. 

Of course, a cream cheese glave will top these red velvet waffles perfectly, but feel free to top your batch of waffles with whatever you want — syrup, frosting, chocolate chips, fresh fruit.

Red Velvet Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:

Directions: 

  1.  Preheat a Belgian waffle iron.
  2. In a bowl, combine the waffle mix, water, cocoa powder, and sugar. Stir in the red food coloring until the batter is a rich red.
  3. Pour some of the batter into the waffle iron and cook until steam stops coming from the waffle iron.
  4. Remove your red velvet waffle and top with syrup, frosting, and fresh fruit.
